📍 Location: Osnovna škola Čavle

🎭 About the play:
The boy Jedan Ja would most like to live in a country without darkness. How wonderful that would be! Flowers would always bloom, people would always talk, there would always be time to play, discover new places, and something would always be happening. Even though he does not live in such a world, Jedan Ja is lucky – even at night it is never completely dark because his friend Star shines for him. But one night Star falls, and Jedan Ja must set off on a journey to save her.

Besides gently addressing the fear of darkness, the play also explores uncomfortable emotions, dreams, boredom, and silence. It speaks about everything hidden in the dark, things we increasingly avoid in today’s world, yet which are essential for both children and adults to experience. The performance is accompanied by live music on clarinet and cello, creating a truly special theatre experience. The play was created with the support of a child psychologist.
