The Čavle Tourist Board is once again organising three popular guided walks this autumn under the name “PUTOVIMA ČAVJANSKIH KALIĆA”.

For three consecutive Saturdays, starting on 17 October 2026, you’ll have the opportunity to discover the beauty of Čavle’s ponds, enjoy nature and cultural heritage, and spend time in good company.

👉 The walks are organised as part of the Čavle Ponds Revitalisation Project, which has restored and improved 14 ponds, connecting them with more than 14 km of trails across three walking routes. Information boards, hiking stamps, benches and tables have also been installed, access paths have been cleared, and local landmarks have been signposted.

📅 17 October – Čavle–Hrastenica

👉 The first walk will take place on 17 October 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m.

👉 Čavle–Hrastenica trail: 3.7 km (one way).

👉 Duration: approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (one way).

👉 Meeting point: in front of the Čavle Cultural Centre, where the group will set off on foot.

🎁 When you arrive at the Čavle Cultural Centre, you’ll be welcomed with a welcome liqueur, hiking passports and a few little treats – just enough to get us energised for the start of the walk. ☺️

🎁 A surprise gift awaits visitors who collect all the hiking stamps in their hiking passport. The gift can be collected from the Tourist Board office.
