On Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Igralište Jama in Čavle, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the third edition of the children’s event “Magični šešir” will take place. This year the magic hat takes everyone on a great sports adventure! Turistička zajednica općine Čavle and DSR Kvarner have prepared a diverse and rich program, and entry is free for all visitors.
The program is intended for children up to 12 years of age and their parents, and is designed as a combination of entertainment, education, and sports activities. Through various workshops and activities, participants will have the opportunity to develop creativity, encourage movement, and strengthen a sense of community, with a special emphasis on the importance of sports and an active lifestyle.
In previous years, “Širko” (the Magic hat mascot) introduced children to the topics of environmental protection and getting to know the local community, and this year he brings them into the world of sports and recreation.
Visitors can also expect a suitable food and beverage offer, while the program will be hosted by Frenki Fućak. The organizers invite everyone interested to join and spend an active and fun afternoon in općina Čavle, which is part of the European Region of Sport 2026.
